It’s funny, when we are in high school, the idea of different careers seems so limitless. Then all of a sudden you find yourself in college, and you aren’t sure what you want to do with the rest of your life. I really wish at this point I would have majored in some kind of art of visual communication, because my degree in English is sort of just collecting dust on the shelf! Oh well.

I really, really, really need to invest in some more computer memory for my laptop. With all of the photography software that I run, it gets really bogged down at times. I think that I just need to consider it a business investment and make the time to have my system upgraded. Now I just need to put that on my to do list!

So, we were watching one of those home improvement shows on TLC this morning while Evan was napping, and I saw the most beautiful ceramic tiles in one of the homes that they were featuring. I am going to have to scour the internet now to try and find exactly what they were using, because it was just lovely. I’m sure there must be a reasonably priced version of a similar tile out there!

I don’t have a lot of it, but, I’ve been helping a friend of mind with searches on Jobs in Philadelphia when I have a free moment this week. She was recently laid off, and has decided that she will need to move home to PA where her family is. It’s a hard time for a lot of people–I know so many who have lost their jobs this year, it’s just really too bad.

It’s funny, I am not working a traditional out of the home job right now, but I still look forward to weekends. They just seem different, and, Zach is home of course. That being said, I have a photo shoot and client meeting Saturday that I need to prepare for, so I’m not totally off. I also need to work on a Logistics Job Search for a friend of mine that I promised I would help.

I’ve been having a hard time sleeping lately. I can’t even blame it on being a new parent, because when I finally do get a moment of peace, I can’t sleep due to our crappy mattress. We’ve been looking at mattresses online, and I think it’s about time to order something new, because this morning I woke up with a sore back and neck. I really need to be able to get some rest at night!

I’ve been watching a lot of late night television since having a baby. Seems like it’s an endless span of informercials for exercise equipment and commercials for New York accident lawyers. I really need to start recording my favorite shows and watching them at night when I’m up with the baby. At least I could be watching something worthwhile at that rate!

I just realized that I own like twenty domain names, ha! I really need to get rid of some of the ones that I don’t use anymore. For example, I was selling wedding invitations on one of them for a while, but decided that affiliate marketing wasn’t really worthwhile to me. I also have some domain names that I planned to use for personal sites but never got around to it. Maybe I can sell some of them?

I’ve definitely been going through some nesting over the past few weeks in preparation for the baby. I’ve also been driving Zach nuts with various tasks and maintenance requests. Tonight, he replaced a broken faucet in our bathroom with a new Delta faucet. It is so much nicer now, and that’s one more thing that I can mark off my to-do list. Now I just need to finish up some laundry and clean the bathroom. Oh, and vacuum and mop all of the floors. I’m sure there are actually about a million other things I need to do as well, yikes!
