For those of you reading who also happen to be my friends on Flickr, Twitter, LiveJournal, and/or MySpace, this probably isn’t news to you. For those of you who are just readers of my blog… I’m pregnant!
I have been holding off on telling everyone until after I saw my doctor for the first time, so, now that I have passed that first goal in the pregnancy, I feel a little more comfortable just telling the world. Of course, I am only 8 weeks pregnant so it is still very early.
Yesterday I had my first ultrasound, and we were able to see the little baby’s heart just fluttering away, which made everything much more real. Of course, I came home with pictures:

I have been experiencing horrible “morning” sickness for the past several weeks. It’s really more like 24-hours-a-day-sickness. While I know that this is part of the process, as I have been telling people (whining is more like it), it is also really stressful on both my body and my mind. I am praying that within a few weeks this will subside.
I am due on August 15th. Yes, I know, it’s going to be a long, hot, swollen summer.

I hope you are luckier than I was - I vomited regularly until I was 22 weeks pregnant :/ It’ll get better eventually, though! I’m really happy for you, Crissy.

Congratulations! That’s fantastic! I myself am…um… I don’t know how many weeks anymore… last trimester, due mid-march… so 30? …ish??
And if it makes you feel any better, i had morning sickness so bad I was hospitalised and put on an IV, so I feel for you, it royally sucks… but I promise it WILL get better.
