I usually do something prior to Halloween to mark the holiday, whether it be carving a pumpkin, or buying some Halloween themed goodies for the candy dish, but this year? Nothing. In fact, I saw a few people wearing costumes in town today, randomly, and it took me a minute to realize that they were probably dressed up for some kind of Halloween festivities.
I live in the country and we don’t get any trick-or-treaters at our house, so I don’t have to buy any candy for that. I actually really wish that we did get trick-or-treaters, because I’d love to dress up and hand out candy.
It’s holidays like this, too, when I feel a little sad that I don’t have any kids yet. I’m sure the whole experience is a lot more fun when you have a child to experience it with.
On another note, I guess I should acknowledge the new blog. If you know me, you know that I have a long history of deleting and repeating, so, here we go again!

Good luck with the new Blog. Beautiful Flickr photos by the way.
I must admit that Halloween is fun with kids. I can’t wait to take out my 1 year old “Georgia Bulldogs” cheerleader this afternoon.
All the Best.

awesome- I can’t believe this domain name wasn’t already taken, it’s a great one!
I’ll agree with the previous poster- Halloween is quite fun with Maggie
Once I got ‘too old’ for trick or treating, I missed the festivities… now I can participate again without feeling like a huge dork, hehe

I actually registered this domain thinking I would do something commercial with it, like sell “I heart my blog” bumper stickers or something.
Aww, I can’t wait to have kids!

Thanks! Yeah, hopefully I’ll have a child to experience all of the fun holidays with eventually.
